The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas hosts a broad range of fitness programs for people of all ages and abilities. From pre-schoolers to teenagers to senior citizens, we offer group exercise classes as well as one-on-one and small group training with certified YMCA trainers.
Some of our most popular programs include:
PFP (Personal Fitness Program)
A free 12-week program for the individual who has difficulty committing to a fitness program. PFP helps you learn how to use exercise machines properly and safely, and to eliminate any barriers you may have that may keep you from living a healthier lifestyle. Designed to help you stay motivated, informed, and find success in your daily workouts, the PFP program offers you four one-on-one sessions with a certified YMCA trainer and ongoing email communication with your trainer if you have questions or problems.
FREE Fitlinxx Orientation
Fitlinxx is a computerized fitness network that tracks your exercise results on YMCA weight machines. These results give you motivating feedback on your progress while providing your training coach with information to identify when assistance is needed. The Fitlinxx orientation includes instruction on form, range of motion, and rate of motion.
FREE Body Composition
A certified personal trainer can provide a body composition analysis. Appt. only.
