At the YMCA, we view youth as assets to our community.  The YMCA helps young people make wise and healthy choices by offering programs that give youth and teens opportunities to gain leadership skills, core values and an ethic of service.

Adventure Camp: Collin County Adventure Camp YMCA is a year round outdoor center located in Anna, Texas.  CCAC is dedicated to engaging kids and adults alike in a hands-on outdoor learning experience that build relationships and promotes respect for our natural resources.  This is accomplished through programs such as Outdoor Education for schools, Teambuilding, Conferences and Retreats, Family Camps and so much more.  This is all accomplished in a stunning setting of lakes, woods and black land prairie.

After School: Once a child reaches school age, multiple influences enter his or her life. YMCA After School ensures that the time after school is occupied creatively and constructively. Our After School programs are offered in partnership with area school districts and various other organizations, offering care in more than 100 locations.

Day Camp: YMCA summer day camp provides youth with supervised activities that teach core values, conflict resolution and leadership skills. Kids have fun while making new friends, developing new skills, building self-confidence, appreciating teamwork and growing in self-reliance.

Early Child Development: The YMCA believes that a quality program should provide enriching experiences which facilitate a child’s cognitive, social, physical and emotional growth. YMCA Early Child Development programs, licensed by the State of Texas, provide a curriculum focused on education, leadership and character development.

Enrichment Activities: The YMCA has a long history of providing classes and educational opportunities to people in our communities. Programs can include dance classes, such as ballet, jazz, hip hop and tap; art classes, such as pottery, drawing and painting; gymnastics and tumbling classes for babies through young adults.

Sleepover Camp: YMCA Camp Grady Spruce, located on Possum Kingdom Lake, is the experience that inspires, builds, and strengthens relationships with God, His creation and each other.  Through challenges, laughter and positive role models camp can be a life-changing experience for boys and girls.  Camp programs include water skiing, horse back riding, sailing, canoeing, archery, riflery, and much more. Camp Grady Spruce offers Summer Camp, Family Camp, Outdoor Education and Retreats.

Toddlers and Preschool: Through YMCA Preschool, children embark on a voyage of learning with a curriculum that addresses the development of the whole child.  By using a variety of strategies, our preschools utilize a creative bilingual curriculum that includes an appreciation for language and literature, listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

Youth Sports: The YMCA believes that youth sports programs encourage and promote strong kids, families and communities by placing a priority on family involvement, healthy competition rather than rivalry, the value of participation over winning and individual character development.
